History: Ryou's career in showbiz started with his younger twin Atsushi as they took the lead roles for a musical. They took the entertainment world by storm a year later when they released a single as a duo named Double Echo, building up a huge fanbase. When Atsushi decided to go into production instead, Ryou took the chance to embark on a more traditional genre, fusing pop-rock with traditional Japanese music. While the move lost him some fans, he gained new ones as well, and continued singing the way he wanted to.
